So how does the sync generally work? In most AspireGold systems, the basic
work process "flow" looks something like this...

ENTERING NEW PROSPECTS
New prospects are entered into AspireGold from a variety of
possible sources. Two basic scenarios are:
- Prospecting with AspireGold and
- Following up on walk in (or web import) applicants with
AspireGold
Let's discuss these two scenarios.
Scenario 1: Using AspireGold as a Prospecting Tool.
You get a new lead. The lead can come from any source. Some lead sources lend
themselves to use the automated data entry subsystem in AspireGold. A lead
coming in off your web site, for example, can be automatically entered into
AspireGold using GoldMine's web import function. This means you don't have to
retype any information, and AspireGold could start marketing to that lead
immediately, without any user interaction. Other lead sources are: old fashioned
data entry (typing), importing the new
lead from another database, csv file, Excel spreadsheet, automated web data
import, or by using the automated functions of AspireGold PowerSuite. If you are
using a system that is more advanced than simply typing the leads into
AspireGold, setup may require some customization.
Once the lead is entered, AspireGold
will automatically market the prospect via automated campaigns. (See PROSPECTING
CAMPAIGNS, below.)
After a while --
hopefully! -- the prospect calls in for an application. Now, the interesting
thing is, the loan your agent may have been speaking with this prospect several
times during the course of the automated campaigns. The agent may have collected
valuable data (1003 data or otherwise) that has been entered into AspireGold's
1003 screen. It would be a shame to have to retype this data to create the new
Point record. That's why we have the AspireGold Suite software called CLIENT. By
clicking twice on Client, a new record will be created in Point (Prospect or
Borrower, your preference) from the existing data in AspireGold.
Great, now we have two records, one in GoldMine and one in Point. When you get the app and submit the loan, have your staff move the Point
Prospect file to Borrower. Because the Open and Submit dates are
synchronized from Point to GoldMine, AspireGold sees that the app was successful
and removes the client from the prospecting campaigns. It starts them on the
Under Application campaign. SYNCMaster continues to synchronize your Point
Borrower file with AspireGold on a field-by-field basis, automatically and
throughout the day in the background. (For a description of the UNDER
APPLICATION CAMPAIGNS, see below.)
Scenario 2: Managing Walk In or Batch-Submitted Applications. In
this example, a client walks in off the street and takes an application, or
submits their application to you via your web site, or a web site that submits
leads into Calyx Point (like Myers Internet). The deciding factor here is that
this person is new; they were never a prospect in AspireGold and you do not have
any info about this person in your AspireGold database.
SYNCHRONIZATION WITH LOAN SOFTWARE
One of the benefits of using AspireGold is how it can synchronize
data with your loan software, and other external databases. When
comparing AspireGold to other packages that claim to synchronize data,
be aware that the back-office system-wide data synchronization used by
SYNCMaster is much different than user-initiated
workstation-based synchronization schemes used by our competitors.
Back-office Synchronization saves your team time and money because it
is transparent to the users.
Although SYNCMaster can be purchased directly from the
manufacturer, purchasing
directly from AspireGold has its benefits. You will get our custom SYNCMaster and
CLIENT templates ("snc files") which
streamline and simply your installation dramatically.
OK. Now that you get the hang of it, do you want to know the secret for
automating your loan business?
The secret is this: new data is synchronized into the AspireGold fields. When
AspireGold "notices" that the data has changed, it can calculate a new result,
